Day 14: Emily hops around on her crutches now like she was born with them. She got her hard cast today, choosing bright pink (I think she would have gone for pink camouflage if it had been a choice). She had 12 stitches taken out on the right side of her knee, 2 on the left. Her leg looked a little swollen around the knee, but healthy. She is our shining star through all of this.
