Day 58: Aug. 7, 2009

Day 58: Travis came home today! I wish there was some extra grand way to say, "He's Home!" Words can not express our feelings. We are elated, joyful, happy, relieved, and very tired. We arrived at home around 7:30 p.m. An awesome friend with a strong back wheeled Travis up our steps backwards fairly quickly. The car ride home wore Travis out,so he went straight to bed. Quite frankly, I'm plum wore out too! Running back and forth to the hospital for 58 days was a marathon. We plan to sleep-in and just be together. My parents took the kids reunioning in Utah. They will be back tomorrow. I look forward to having my whole family under the our roof. For now, the quiet peace of home with husband near fills my heart.
